Teaching Digital Jim DG acronyms. 😂 I’m asking my team to work on a pronunciation dictionary, it’s not as easy as it might sound. Why is DOT sounded out letter by letter but OSHA is not? As humans we don’t have much of a problem with that. Of course it could be much worse. I don’t speak German but I’m always amazed when I ask someone over there or at the UN “oh what does the German ‘BAM’ agency stand for…. and then they tell me the full name of the agency in German. Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung. Or something like that. I’ll stick to our English names thanks.
And isnt it ironic that the German agency that does💥 explosive testing / approvals is “BAM!” obviously I’m not the first DG person to notice that. Wendy — in your book you can add a DG Humor supplement.
