TDG Approved as ICAO-FIATA Training School—Now Meets IATA Cargo Agent Requirements

Transportation Development Group (TDG) LLC has been approved as an ICAO- FIATA Training school. This approval directly satisfies the Dangerous Goods training requirements that IATA recognizes for Cargo Agents. https://dg.training/IATAAGENTS

Why This Matters
For years, CNS (IATA’s financial clearing house), restricted Cargo Agent renewal training to IATA-approved programs only. This requirement was formally enforced last year. Now, with TDG’s ICAO-FIATA approval, you have an alternative that meets the same standard. CNS has confirmed that our program satisfies their Cargo Agent Training Requirements.

Their requirement affects specific roles: CNS mandates that all Cargo Agents maintain two trained personnel in the corporate office and one in each branch office—specifically for Acceptance training using an approved program.

What This Means for Your Training
Your students will use the current IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations for this CBTA training in IATA Job Functions 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, and 7.4, along with IATA checklists and standards. The difference: you now have training flexibility and choice of using TDG’s engaging, interactive training program, used for over 25 years, while maintaining full compliance with the law, and with IATA’s Cargo Agency Requirements.
