Register for Safeworks LLC/BrandSafway customized dangerous goods training webinar, led by a live instructor, on Tuesday, September 9, beginning at 8:00 am Pacific Time. You will receive a meeting invite along with pdfs of training materials about one week prior to the training date. You will be required to print out the materials and test to have on hand during the training.
If you are involved in handling, transporting or shipping Class 9 lithium batteries this training is designed to help you meet the U.S. Department of Transportation’s four training requirements under 49CFR Part §172.704: (1) General Awareness Training; (2) Security Awareness Training; (3) Safety Training; and (4) Function Specific Training. Recurrent training is required every 3 years for DOT and IMDG regulations, every 2 years for IATA. At the completion of our training, each student will receive a certificate, which the employer needs to keep as part of their training records.
This training is based on Safeworks/BrandSafway products and the specific regulations pertaining to shipping them by ground transport only, according to 49CFR.
