Program Summary:

Learn the information and regulatory skills required to safely ship hazardous materials by ground. This interactive online training program will provide you step by step hazardous materials training based on Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations (also known as 49 CFR). This is a comprehensive full acceptance program covering: hazardous materials classification and identifications, packing, marking, labeling, and documentation. Students will walk away with a clear understanding of how to utilize 49 CFR to perform their job safely and effectively for highway shipping.

Certification Details:

This program was developed in accordance with Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations (US DOT 49 CFR). This is the regulatory compliance training required by the US Department of Transportation for shipping by ground. Students receive a certificate upon completion.

Who Should Take This Program:

US DOT guidelines recommend hazardous materials training for all employees who are involved in the preparation, packing and/or handling of hazardous materials. This includes warehouse personnel, drivers and employees preparing hazmat shipping documents or who interact with dangerous goods / hazardous materials.
