Rounded vs. Square Labels

We all know that hazard labels are “square” (as Hazmat Scholar pointed out recently)… they’re just set at 45 degrees. Not really a “diamond.” We know there has to be a border of contrasting color to aid in visually identifying the label from a background of a similar color.

But what if the label itself (outside the border) has rounded edges? Is that acceptable. I think so, but I’m not one hundred percent certain so I thought I’d ask folks (like Tracey Hemingway-Wright) what their opinion is on this issue?

And for any of you groaning, “OMG this will never come up in real life, move on to actual safety issues…” I invite you to unfollow me, as this is IRL, at least in my life, in whatever simulation I may reside (lol).
